<p style='text-align: justify;'>The 1C long Michelson radio telescope build at the rifle range. For details see: Ryle et al, 1950. Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc., 110, 508. The long Michelson radio interferometer operating at a wavelength of 3.7 m was used to carry out the first Cambridge (1C) radio survey of the northern sky. The source catalogue contained about 50 sources, a mixture of Galactic and extragalactic objects.</p>
