<p style='text-align: justify;'>Rev. Dr. Thomas Cecil Fitzpatrick was the President of Queens' College, Cambridge, from 1906 until his death, and Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University in 1915–17 and 1928-29. He served as an Assistant Demonstrator in the Cavendish from 1888 to 1906. During this time he organized the teaching of practical physics for medical students and developed new apparatus for producing liquid air.</p>
