<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>These collected notes appear to be derived from Lysons with additional material which may have a common source. Paragraphs describe descent of manors of Haslingfield, Harleston [Harston] Shadworth and Bourn, and their acquisition by Dr Wendy, with biographical material on building the manor house, his benefaction to Caius College (augmented by his nephew), etc, citing Edmund Carter’s <i>History of [the County of] Cambridge </i>1819. There is a pencilled note to monuments in Broadwater (Sussex) church to the de la Warr family (Bourn Hall) with reference to <i>Gentleman’s Magazine</i> July 1819.</p><p>Lysons 1808; Saunders P pers comm</p></p>
