<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>St Mary’s church tower is early C13, restored 1881 after a fire which required recasting five bells and loss of the church clock, recorded by Cole 1745. The rebuilt tower sports a new clock, flagpole and weather vane in the form of rowing eight on the spirelet. </p><p>Palmer 1932</p></p>
