<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>This hatchment, still hanging on the aisle ceiling of St Peter’s church, is for Robert James Adeane, son of General Adeane (<b>130</b>). He married Annabella Blake, inherited Babraham Hall and estate and died 1823. The hatchment, with its all black background, was restored in 2006. It is one of 7 hatchments that are fixed high in the N and S aisles, and is at the E end of the S aisle. There are other significant family monuments in the church, which is adjacent to Babraham Hall, at a distance from the present village. </p><p>Bingley and Cockerill 2006; Sanders WA in Summers 1985 </p></p>
