<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Charles Roderick (c. 1649–1712) came to King’s as a scholar in 1667, became a Fellow 1671, Provost 1689-1712 and Vice-Chancellor 1690-1 and 1709-10. He was also headmaster of Eton 1682-89, rector of Raynham, Norfolk, prebendary of Ely, rector of Milton and dean of Ely, 1708-12. He is buried in King's College Chapel with his arms displayed in S chapel (P) where there is a white marble cartouche with draperies, fruit and flower festoons, cherub-head and a smaller cartouche with arms of the Deanery of Ely, Roderick, the College, and Bullock. </p><p>RCHME 1959; Venn 1922-7</p></p>
