<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Single page from a notebook recording the expenditure and income of the Mustaʿrib community of Cairo. It includes a record of a payment to 'Esther for flooring the entrance hall with 25 tiles, 12 fiḍḍa'. In the winter of 1599 it notes two payments made for the salary of the dough kneader (ʿajjān).</p></p>
