<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Bill of lading, confirming that Joseph b. Ḵalfa (al-Qarawī) is accompanying a shipment containing 32 Tripolitanian cloaks, 2 red cloaks, 2 hides serving as covers, 40 Sicilian cloths wrapped in a washed mantle, 4 boxes of saffron, 5 Sicilian cloths, and a turban made of cotton. All of the goods are wrapped in underpants, אלגמיע מלפוף פי צראויל (סראויל, capacious cloths that were commonly used as wrapping when no longer used for their original purpose). Ca. 1062 CE.</p></p>
