<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Lower part of a letter from the Nagid Joshua Maimonides (in the hand of his scribe), angrily admonishing his correspondent over financial matters: ‘You don’t appreciate how hard I am working for you. If you do not close the accounts this year, I shall send you a collector from the Government, even on a holiday!’ (translation from Goitein 1984: v).</p></p>
