<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Recto: draft of a divorce deed, in the handwriting of Yeḥiʾel b. Elyaqim, unsigned and omitting the personal names, in which a man from Jabal Nafūsa, Libya, divorces a ‘Maghrebi’ woman, in Fusṭāṭ. Dated Wednesday 13th Tevet 4957 (= December 1214 CE). Verso: part of a letter to Yeḥiʾel b. Elyaqim (addressing him as R. Yeḥiʾel preceded by an astonishing number of florid titles and epithets) from Moses (עבדו הצעיר משה). It offers greetings to Yeḥiʾel’s disciple (תלמידו) R. Ḥananʾel.</p></p>
