<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Agreement between a nephew (Šela b. Yefet Ibn al-Sukkarī) and his uncle (Ḥalfon b. Solomon) in which the nephew acknowledges having received 500 dinars from his uncle on Hanukkah and that the remaining 500 would be paid next Hanukkah. Dated Monday, 4th Ṭevet 1378 (= 29 December, 1066 CE), in Fusṭāṭ. Signed by Joseph b. Eliezer b. ha-Šofeṭ (‘son of the judge’) and ʿEli ha-Kohen b. Yaḥya.</p></p>
