Recto: letter of request sent to Meʾir b. Hillel b. Ṣadoq Av, from a man in difficult circumstances. He writes about a doctor who is unable to practise ‘because of the tazkiya’, and that no one is permitted to practise medicine in Fusṭāṭ without a certificate of good conduct. Between the lines on recto and continuing on verso, Meʾir has reused the paper to compose a letter to his son. From the second half of the 12th century.
