<p style='text-align: justify;'>Drafts of two court records in Judaeo-Arabic from the court of the Nagid Mevoraḵ b. Saʿadya (in office 1079-1082 and 1094-1111). Recto: court record concerning a public brawl between Solomon b. Abraham and Sason b. Nathan at the gate of the Dār al-Ṣarf, in which the parnas had to intervene, using a whip. Sason b. Nathan is known from other documents in the late 11th and early 12th century, and some record his other misdeeds (T-S 12.1 describes his attempt at fraud using counterfeit currency). Verso: deed of gift from a father to his infant daughter, Sitt al-Ḡarb, of the house in which he currently lives. Her older brothers are excluded from the ownership of the property. Written between the lines of a widely spaced document in Arabic script, written inverted in relation to the Judaeo-Arabic legal document.</p>
