It’s a financial settlement between a man, Isḥāq b. Mūsā al-Ṭandatāwī (like طنطاوي, Ṭanṭāwī), from Tanta (also known as Tandata, Egypt, in the Nile Delta), and his divorced wife, S[…] bint Ṣāliḥ. Ashtor (1944: iii 87-88) suggests Sadīda bat Ṣāliḥ. In the top margin is the address of a short letter found on the reverse: ‘the house of the scholar (אלחכים) Abū […] by the synagogue of the Palestinians (כניסה אלשאמיין, kanīsat al-Šāmiyyīn). Verso: short letter from a man to his son (יא ולדי), which mentions Abū l-Ḥasan, Samuel, Mūsā, and offers greetings to various people at the end, whose names are only partially preserved, Abū Saʿīd and Sitt al-N[…]. </p>
