<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Legal query (שאלה) requesting a responsum concerning the purchase of a copy of al-Fāsī's Sefer ha-Halaḵot (he is referred to as יצחק ז׳׳ל). Damage to the beginning leaves the addressee unknown, but he is referred to as נזרינו וכתרינו and 'the Great Rav in Israel' — probably Moses Maimonides or his son Abraham Maimonides. The document is prefaced with a large ב׳׳ה in the top margin.</p></p>
