Recto: calendrical work by Mevasser b. Jacob entitled ‘A reply to the People of Intercalation and Postponements’ (אלרד עלי אצחאב אלעבור אלדחויות), listing the postponements and arguing against them on the grounds that they are neither mentioned in the Bible, nor are they the legacy of the fathers (which is demonstrated by the fact that they are inconsistent, as is reflected in that the postponement for Passover is בד in some sources and בדו in others), nor are they required by the intellect. On verso the word קראיין is legible, written in a different hand.
