<p style='text-align: justify;'>Opening of the work Kitāb khalaq al-Insān (Book on the Creation of Man), a treatise on physiology and pathology by Sa‘īd ibn Hibat Allāh (an Iraqi physician active during the 11th century). The title of the work is preceded by the basmala. The passage preserved here opens by mentioning Galen (and another author whose name is obscured by a lacuna) and presents a brief narrative of God’s creation of the world and man.
