<p style='text-align: justify;'>Leaf from an illuminated Passover Haggada (הגדה של פסח), with large incipits, rubrication, and anthropomorphic (human-headed) snakes forming Hebrew letters. Probably from Catalonia, early 14th c., according to B. Narkiss, 'Hebrew Illuminated Manuscripts in the British Isles : A Catalogue Raisonné' (1982: i 99-100). The text is from ha-Maggid (המגיד), including the Ten Plagues (ha-Makkot, המכות) </p>
