<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: incomplete list of accents with an example of their use in Genesis 1:18. Includes one accent called “maqqaf hamza,” marked by a vertical stroke above the accent name, with a Judaeo-Arabic explanation that this accent is “like the staff which is above the waw.” The waw in question is the the first letter of the word וּלהבדיל (Genesis 1:18), which follows the explanation and is indeed marked by a short stroke above. Verso: jottings in Hebrew and Arabic script.</p>
