Colophon and beginning of the book Kitāb Ḥudūd al-Manṭiq min qawl Arisṭuṭalis al-faylasūf (‘The book regarding the definitions of logic based on Aristotle the philosopher’) by the East-Syriac Metropolitan ʿAbdīshūʿ Ibn Bahrīz. The author’s name and his home town of Moṣūl are mention on recto (line 9). The colophon is in Arabic script and the book itself is in Judaeo-Arabic. The Judaeo-Arabic orthography of the fragment exhibits features of early phonetic spelling, suggesting that the copy was made no later than the 10th century. The book belonged to Ṣadaqa ibn Isḥāq.
