The first three lines are written in Arabic script, then repeated in Judaeo-Arabic. Then the next three lines are written in Arabic script but without a Judaeo-Arabic transcription, probably because the copyist ran out of space. Verso: the colophon, specifying that this is a book by Samuel b. Hošaʿna (Third in the Academy), copied by Judah ha-Levi b. Yefet ha-Levi in the month of Jumādā al-Awwal, 550 of the Hijra (= July, 1155 CE).</p>
