<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Genesis 1:1-5. The verso contains a colophon and two notes of purchase: זה הכתב לר׳ אברהם המלמד החכם והנבון האלוהים יברכו אמן נ׳׳ס, 'This book belongs to R. Abraham the teacher, the learned and wise, may God bless him, amen, forever'. This is followed in a different hand by אנתקל בחכם אלשרי לעלי בר ישועה הח׳ נ׳׳ע, noting the sale to Eli b. Yešuʿa, and there is another faint, almost illegible, note of sale to the left of the colophon, apparently to אלשיך עלי.</p></p>
