Long letter in Hebrew from Abraham he-Ḥaver b. Šabbetay (first half of 12th century), head of the Jewish community in Minyat Ziftā, to the Egyptian Nagid Moses b. Mevoraḵ, congratulating the recipient for his success in dealing with an enemy of the Jewish community, presumably in the Islamic government, who also, it seems was a threat to the Caliph. This enemy is given the name Šippeṣ (which appears as both שיפץ and אלשיפץ) by Abraham. His defeat is likened to Mordechai's defeat of Haman. Regards are sent to the recipient’s sons, Mevoraḵ and Judah. Datable to after 1112 CE, when Moses became Nagid after the death of his father.
