Recto: part of a letter, signed by ʿEli ‘he-Ḥaver in the Great Sanhedrin’ b. ʿAmram, giving instructions to a local official on how to execute the will of Solomon b. Yefet, whose oldest daughter, Qurra, had made a claim on part of his estate, the rest of which was to go to Solomon’s widow, Qurra’s step-mother. ʿEli states that it is right to give an equal share to both Qurra and her younger sister. Also mentions Jacob b. Isaac, the husband of Qurra b. Solomon. Verso (and two lines of recto): various biblical verses, with vocalisation, perhaps a writing exercise.
