<p style='text-align: justify;'>Deed of release in which the brothers Ḵalaf and Musāfir b. Samuel b. Ḵalaf acknowledge that they have received 250 gold pieces deposited with Maḥfūẓ b. Isaac. Dated Sunday 5th Elul [13]60 (= 1049 CE), probably in Fusṭāṭ. Witnessed by Sar Šalom b. Joseph, Saʿadya b. Ephraim, Solomon b. Saʿadya, Mevoraḵ b. Abraham, ʿEli b. Abraham, Moses b. Ephraim, and endorsed by the Bet Din including Sahlān b. Abraham.</p>
