<p style='text-align: justify;'>Deed of sale in which Joseph b. ʿUlla, a šarābī (seller of potions) sells to Abū l-Maḵaram the perfumer one-eighth of a house in the great bazaar in the Surayya Lane, a blind alley, for 7 1/2 dinars. Half of the house belongs to Christians and 1/6 to a seller of oil. Dated 1179 CE. In the hand of the judge Mevoraḵ b. Nathan, who signs in large letters. Also signed by Abraham b. Yaḥya ha-Levi, Solomon b. Nathan, Samuel b. Joseph, Levi ha-Levi b. Abraham, Samuel b. Saʿadya, and Elʿazar b. […].</p>
