<p style='text-align: justify;'>Ketubba for Muʿtazz, the freedwoman of Moses b. Paltiel, and Bašīr b. Ḵalaf, dated Friday 13th Nisan 129[7] (= March 986 CE) in Fusṭāṭ. Witnessed by Abraham b. Isaac b. Bahlūl, Yešuʿa b. [...], Daniel [...], Saʿīd [...], [...] b. Šuʾal (שואל). Goitein (1967:145, 368-9, 436) notes the dowry (45 dinars) is very high for a freedwoman.</p>
