Verses for a funeral service in the handwriting of the cantor of the Palestinian Synagogue in Fusṭāṭ, Jeduthun ha-Levi he-Ḥaver (Abū l-Ḥasan b. Abū l-Sahl). They begin with a collection of biblical verses on the theme of mourning, with the title פואסיק הצור (a reference to Deuteronomy 32:4), followed by four piyyuṭim, of which the last has the acrostic (with the letters repeated in the margin for emphasis) ידותון הלוי חבר. Only the last of the piyyuṭim can with certainty be attributed to Jeduthun, but it is likely that they are all his own compositions. They are: (a) אוי כי אבל גדול, (b) תורה הלילי, (c) איך יעמוד לבינו and (d) יום זה אשא קינה (though Jeduthun spells it אשה).
