Part of a deed, in which Yefet b. Aaron confirms that he has received the sum of 8 and three-quarter dinars from persons, including Abraham and Dalāl children of Solomon b. Ezra, and also from their mother Mubāraka, and perhaps also from their uncle Samuel b. Ezra. Yefet is acting as the court appointed official overseeing the estate of the late ʿĀliyya, and the sum he has received is an inheritance for her sisters Malūk and Rayyisa, daughters of Faraj. Several witnesses to an earlier stage in these proceedings are mentioned, including Solomon b. Saʿadya b. Ṣajīr, Saʿīd b. ʿEli, Mubārak b. Ṣedaqa, Solomon b. Musāfir, Yefet b. [...], and Saʿīd b. Mawhūb.
