Ṯamar, who is in prison after not being able to meet his obligations following being cheated out of his share in a tax-farming business by his two partners Abū l-Ḥasan Ibn al-Tadmurī and Sayyid al-Ahl b. אלהשן. He wants to get out of jail before the Sabbath. </p>
