<p style='text-align: justify;'>Deed dealing with claims between Joseph b. Ṣedaqa and the orphan son of his partner, Nissim b. Mešullam (b. Hiba). The verso provides further details of the settlement, mentioning debtors including Sitt bint al-Rayyis and Maʿālī b. Samuel. Dated 1405 of the Seleucid Era (= 1094 CE). Nissim b. Mešullam was himself orphaned at a young age (see T-S 13J37.9; T-S 10J5.13; T-S 20.30, all dated 1066 CE) and Joseph b. Ṣedaqa was an agent involved in settling his father’s affairs. </p>
