<p style='text-align: justify;'>Autograph letter of recommendation for Isaac al-Darʿī by Moses Maimonides, addressing 'The Faithful Sheikh', al-Šayḵ al-Ṯiqa, in Minyat Ziftā. Maimonides asks the community there to pay the poll-tax for Isaac and his son, who are new arrivals to Egypt and on their way to Damietta. Address on verso including delivery details (‘By means of Ibrāhīm al-Darʿī’) in Arabic script. </p>
