<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter written in the 1160s to the brother of the writer. The writer had arrived in Alexandria with his wife and son Joseph. He describes warfare between Arabs and black tribes and mentions people including Ḥiyya and Abū l-Maʿānī. </p>
