The first wife of the man had died and left a boy, and the second marriage was unhappy, so he disappeared, and asked the uncle to give his boy the family Bible and keep his whereabouts secret. Mentions a legal opinion from Moses Maimonides, and sends greetings to Abū l-Munajjā and Abū ʿAlī. </p>
