<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from Bayān to his brother Abū ʿImrān, ‘son of the teacher’, assuring the addressee that the family (his father and his brother Abū Sahl) has paid the poll-tax and that he should not worry, begging that he should come back to Fusṭāṭ (‘your mother cries day and night’). Also mentions a letter to Abū Isḥāq. </p>
