<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter to Elijah the judge from Yešuʿa the teacher b. Abraham. Dated Iyyar 196 (4996 of the Era of Creation = 1236 CE). Elijah’s son Abū Zikrī had taken an ‘Arabic book’ and is asked to pay for it or return it. The letter also mentions school fees of poor children being paid through charitable collections, and marital matters of Ḵalaf ʿAwāḍ the dyer al-Maḡribī. </p>
