<p style='text-align: justify;'>Legal document, dated Ševaṭ 1412 of the Seleucid Era (= 1100 CE), concerning a lawsuit between Šemarya b. Ḥalfon and his son ʿEli. The son agrees to renounce all previous claims to an inheritance in a Muslim court if his father deposits half of all his possessions with a Jewish court. Signed and written by Hillel b. ʿEli, and signed by Isaac b. Samuel, Joseph b. Solomon and Obadiah ha-Kohen b. Mevoraḵ. </p>
