This 14th century manuscript is attributed to the French Dominican Guilelmus Peraldus or Guillaume Peyraut (ca 1190–1271). Paraldus wrote several cycles of sermons to be used by other preachers. Trinity Hall’s manuscript contains numerous Latin notes and draft sermons in a 14th / early 15th century hand throughout.
Peraldus' Sermons are arranged according to the Temporal in two series. It ends imperfectly at fol. 181 in the sermon for the last Sunday after Trinity. The first of the marginal sermons is Sermo 2 de ascensions domini, while the last of the marginal Sermons is on the Ascension.
