The harvest was affected by drought and the burning of the melass houses. Next year's harvest promises to be better. The latest accounts date to 10 Nov., when everything was going on well. Mr Jackson will call on the Liverpool house for an instalment due for the Ceres. Requests remittances for her sister, Miss Barbara Douglas, and her two other sisters. Discusses her son, George, and the prospect of his putting himself under the care of Mr Bresler of Edinburgh, although she doubts a cure is possible in the time Mr B. professes to require.</p></p>
