<p style='text-align: justify;'>This is a memoir describing the composition, organisation, training, mobilisation and wartime service of the engineers from Aug. 1940 until the surrender of Singapore (two copies). The file includes a Christmas card to John Weekley, Mess Room D representative at Changi Civilian Internment Camp, dated Christmas 1942 (total 50 sheets).</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Guy Hutchinson was manager of the Fraser Estate and section commander in the Johore Volunteer Engineers.</p>
