The year of completion is also erased from the colophons on pp. 320 and 1136. Schmitz and Desai, Mughal and Persian painting, New Delhi, 2006, pp. 142-43, identify the work of three different artists.</p><p>The manuscript contains paintings of all the single combats in the Yazdah rukh episode, for which see Charles Melville, 'Serial killers', Persica 23 (2019-10).</p><p>The manuscript is paginated not foliated.</p><p>Initial investigation by Amin Mahdavi, whose note of the dimensions differs from those of Schmitz & Desai.</p></p>
