<i>Sermons by Joseph Beaumont</i><p style='text-align: justify;'>A collection of sermons by Joseph Beaumont, D.D., Master of Peterhouse and Regius Professor of Divinity in the University of Cambridge, 1650-1670. A notable poet as well as a sermon-writer, Beaumont was among five Peterhouse fellows ejected in 1644 on account of their Laudian sympathies. He returned to Cambridge after the Restoration.</p>
