<p style='text-align: justify;'>These handwritten notes give Joseph Needham's account of his meeting with Wilfred Graham Burchett, Australian journalist who visited North Korea in 1951 and interviewed American pilots in captivity. The notes also include Joseph Needham's thoughts about the "brainwashing" (bw) and interrogation of the pilots, and his feelings on leaving Korea, 5 Aug 1952. These are two of the three sheets that were originally pinned together. </p>
