Written from the Government Guesthouse, Shenyang (Mukden), Manchuria, it describes life in the town, a meeting with CY [Ch’iu Ch’iung-yun, Qiu Qiongyun 邱瓊雲] and her role as a member of the People’s Representative Council of 30 at Dairen city and changes in the ‘new China’.
