<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter in Hebrew from Israel ha-Kohen Gaʾon (in his own handwriting) to one of the sons of Solomon ha-Kohen Roš Kalla b. Saʿadya. Israel ha-Kohen’s name would have been given at the top, in the style of the Babylonian geʾonim, but it is torn away. It is dated at the end, Ṭevet 332 (ie, 1332 Sel. = Dec 1020-Jan 1021), and followed by Israel’s ʿalāma, ברית שלום (berit šalom, which is also given in the address on verso). Edited by Gil as number 63 in ‘In the Kingdom of Ishmael’ (1997: ii 169-70).</p>
