<p style='text-align: justify;'><a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(1);return false;'>Recto:</a> To the left of the basmala there is the note: اعذرنى اعزك الله فى القرطاس 'Forgive me, may God strengthen you, concerning the papyrus' (i.e. excuse the fact that I am using a sheet that has already been used). Text opens after basmala: جعلت فداك واطال الله بقاك ودام كرامتك. The writer states that he has received a note (رقعة) from the addressee concerning a debt owed to him by a certain ‘Abdallāh al-Qanā‘ī. <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(2);return false;'>Verso:</a> Fragment of an account, consisting of a list of Greek numbers followed by a diagonal checking mark. </p>
