<p style='text-align: justify;'><a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(1);return false;'>Recto:</a> Text opens after basmala: حفظك الله وابقاك. The writer expresses joy that the addressee and his household are well. He refers to a woman called ’Amat al-Raḥmān concerning who he wished to seek a decision from the governor (واردت ان استقضى عليها بالسلطان). Mentions later the official known as مزيت السلطان. He states that he wishes to sell a house (انا عازم ابيع ذالك المنزل). <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(2);return false;'>Verso:</a> Closes with: و السلام عليكم و رحمة الله وبركاته. At the other end of the sheet there are traces of the address. </p>
