<p style='text-align: justify;'><a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(1);return false;'>Recto:</a> Opens, after basmala: اطال الله يا سيدى بقاك وادام عزك. The extant text from the beginning of the body of the letter is وانا اعزك الله رجل نصرانى وفى حجرى اطفال 'I, may God grant you strength, am a Christian man with children in my care (literally: lap)'. This suggests that the letter is a petition. Most of the remaining text, however, is missing. <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(2);return false;'>Verso:</a> Only a few words are extant. Mentions the dispatch of some item (فد و جهنى اليك). </p>
