Part of Megillat Antiochus in Aramaic, with Judaeo-Arabic translation. F. 1 opens with the end of verse 44 in Aramaic and closes with the Judaeo-Arabic translation of v. 45. F. 2 opens with the final three words of the Aramaic of v. 51 and closes with the Judaeo-Arabic translation of v. 52 (versification according to Kaddari’s critical edition, 1964). Not all of v. 52 (according to Kaddari’s text) is given in Aramaic before the Judaeo-Arabic translation begins; the text closes at the end of the address to Simeon. The Judaeo-Arabic translation interleaves the Aramaic verse by verse. The Aramaic is fully vocalised using the simple Babylonian system. The Judaeo-Arabic translation differs from that found in Qafiḥ’s edition (1980).
