However, on the reverse, the trimmed text covers the passage from Mohl, 35: 1698 to 35b: 13, that is, Bahram Gur writing with advice to his governors, and then sending his brother Narsi to Khurasan, and his discussions with the envoy of the Caesar of Rum.It is likely that the painting comes after the text, and depicts Bahram Gur in converation with the learned envoy and his mobads.</p></p>
